The 2013 or 28th Marathon Des Sables is drawing to a close with today’s last officially timed (marathon) stage.
Following the race has been quite nostalgic and even quite emotional for me given that I had the privilege to experience, just one year ago, exactly what those people today are going through.
To commemorate this moment, I prepared a slideshow of images and video clips from my own Saharan adventure.
